Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility has got momentum of late and many business houses go beyond charity to integrate social and environmental causes into Company’s processes. The underlying thought is that Corporations can no longer act as isolated economic entities operating in detachment from broader society. While some of the organizations focus on a few high volume projects others have a gamut of activities done on a smaller scale. It is now accepted that one should ensure that no opportunity is lost to serve the underprivileged and the deprived. The project domains can be varied as Education, Health & Hygiene, Child & Elderly Care, Environment & Greenery.
