about the Awards
In a world facing climate change, resource depletion, economic and social inequalities, and shifting stakeholder expectations, sustainability is no longer a choice—it is a business imperative. In India, the sustainability movement was built on a solid foundation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which progressed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and purposeful climate action. Sustainable development has become a vital pillar of enduring economic and social progress, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to drive impactful change across communities and ecosystems.
At the forefront of fostering these transformative efforts is the Kerala Management Association (KMA). Established in 1957, KMA is Kerala’s foremost professional body for advancing management excellence. Representing over 300 corporate members and 2,000 individual members, including distinguished managers, entrepreneurs, and academics, KMA remains a dynamic hub for innovation, collaboration, and leadership.
With a legacy of promoting excellence in management and leadership, KMA inspires organizations to embrace sustainable practices and lead with impactful purpose. KMA fosters a culture of responsibility, innovation, and positive impact by spotlighting businesses that champion sustainability.
The Muthoot Fincorp Green Palms – KMA Sustainability Awards 2025 celebrate this spirit of social and economic transformation. Inspired by Kerala’s iconic coconut palms—symbols of resilience and ecological harmony—these awards honour organizations integrating CSR and ESG principles into their core values, setting benchmarks for responsible leadership, innovation, and purposeful action.
By recognizing sustainable practices, the Muthoot Fincorp Green Palms Awards encourage organizations to lead by example, creating a reinforcing loop of positive change. Winners gain not just accolades but the prestige of being sustainability lighthouses, enhancing their brand reputation and inspiring the future of responsible enterprise. The awards ceremony, scheduled for 28th February 2025, will celebrate visionaries reshaping business and society.
We invite enterprises, startups, NGOs, and CSR leaders to showcase their groundbreaking initiatives by applying for these prestigious awards, celebrating excellence in sustainability and social responsibility.
